Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and financial tasks with precision and accuracy. While a bachelor's degree is not required, the ideal candidate will have practical experience in bookkeeping or accounting, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our company.

Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable staff to help process invoices, payments, and expense reports on time, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including management and operations, to provide financial support and guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, reporting requirements, and financial laws.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of bookkeeping and financial management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly QuickBooks, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) or willingness to pursue certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
