Power Trader, Sr. jobs in Olive Branch, MS

This position will be in Memphis, TN and concentrate on the Municipal General Market Trading role. Successful applicant will have all applicable licenses and a minimum of 10 years industry experience.  This is a salaried position with participation in the Municipal Desk incentive pay pool.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Municipal Bond Trading
•  Series 7, 52, 53, 63 and SIE
• Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with a commission-based sales force

The successful candidate will: 

•  Be proficient with BIDCOMP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bloomberg Professional
•  Have the ability to quickly adapt to learn additional related computer software applications
•  Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and the soft skills required for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
•  Have the ability to block out distractions and remain focused with attention to detail
