Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Rentals team! The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and service on Kinsley's rental power generation fleet.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, and independently repair units throughout Kinsley's service territory
• Perform weekly rental runs to ensure rental readiness
• Prepare units for deployment, including conducting check-out procedures to meet customer specifications
• Outfit rental units with correct cables in terms of size and quantity
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, replace, and repair parts, as well as test and adjust
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs for rental power generation equipment, including alternator assemblies, engines, automatic transfer switches, switchgear, load banks, and control systems
• Participate in an on-call rotation within the rental department to provide technical assistance and emergency dispatch of rental generators locally and nationally

Field Service Technician Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience with 8.5kW – 2,500kW generators
• Possess an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (as required by local jurisdiction) or have the ability to attain one
• Hold a current, valid state driver’s license
• Possess or have the ability to attain a current DOT medical card, as required for towing rental generators
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on-call hours as needed
