Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our team in Lorton, Virginia. This individual will be designated by our client's Enterprise Data Management Leadership Team to manage the program's cybersecurity program and will be responsible for the following:

• Establishing, documenting, and monitoring the organization’s cybersecurity program implementation
• Ensuring compliance with the Senior National Security Team’s Risk Management Plan
• Serve as the primary point of contact to the Security Control Assessor and Approving Official regarding all organizational cybersecurity issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3 years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of system functions, cybersecurity policies, and technical cybersecurity protection measures
• Able to develop solutions to complex IS compliance and security problems.
• Experience successfully interfacing with internal and external customers (i.e. SCAs, Program Managers, etc.);
• Familiar with the security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems.
• Cybersecurity baseline management and change reporting.
• Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
• Excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Must be familiar with RMF documentation as part of assessment and authorization efforts.
• Experience supporting various computer hardware and multiple operating systems in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certifications in Azure
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk)
• Application development experience on Azure

Requirements

• Must be within driving distance of Lorton VA OR willing to relocate there (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
• Must be willing to work onsite PLUS travel out of state (travel up to 50%)
• Must possess an active TS clearance or above
• Must be fully qualified by qualification standards and requirements in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 and DoDM 8140.0
