IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a a Scheduler to support the Improved Turbine Engine (ITE) Product Office within the Aviation Turbine Engines Project Office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain an MS Project Master Schedule for an Army Aviation Acquisition Program.
- Gather data from multiple stakeholders, coordinate and align those inputs via integration sessions or working groups to create a comprehensive schedule that encompasses all the efforts of the program and ensure horizontal and vertical schedule integration across functional teams and program stakeholders.
- Conduct schedule assessments to ensure schedules are structured properly, following industry scheduling best practices; to include comprehensive network logic capable of reporting critical path(s).
- Conduct critical path analysis to assist in program prioritization and decision making.
- Ability to create custom MS Project filters, views, templates and macros.
- Track schedule progress and develop custom status reports/metrics. Update at specified intervals the current status of the project, variances and related actions.
- Ensure budget and resource requirements for programs/projects are realistic and achievable. Assess the impacts resulting from changes to project cost, schedule or technical baselines.
- Interpret the results of the subsequent analyses, identifying critical activities and their effects on the schedule and validate that remedial actions will meet customer requirements.
- Report the project status to the Stakeholders and develop “what if” scenarios and recovery plans as needed. Maintain and operate change control process.
- Provide expert guidance and implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
- Perform monthly Earned Value (EV) analysis on vendors IMPR (Format 6) Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Produce monthly EV schedule reports for leadership and external stakeholders.
- Organize, prepare and conduct an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR); to include USG CAM preparation, vendor IMS assessment and general EV guidance.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures, Statement of Work, and CDRL deliveries pertaining to EV and scheduling.
- Provide guidance pertaining to EV and scheduling for program receivables such as program management plans, risk management plans, EV system descriptions, and program directives.
- Compile data to run scheduling risk analyses using an industry standard software such as Acumen Risk or Full Monty.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and General Experience:
- MS/MA degree with 10 years’ or bachelor's with 18 years’ relevant work experience.
- 10 years’ demonstrated experience with integrated scheduling and reporting.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 10 years’ demonstrated experience with supporting all levels on management and teams.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and pay close attention to detail.
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
