Power Scheduler develops and maintains daily, weekly and monthly schedules for power generation, storage, and wheeling. Monitors and coordinates generation and interchange according to contracts and pooling arrangements. Being a Power Scheduler schedules all power purchases and sales with other utilities. Maintains logs documenting all relevant operating information, problems and issues. Additionally, Power Scheduler requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Power Scheduler occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     We are currently seeking a construction minded project Scheduler that will support work of the project team. The successful candidate will prepare, analyze, verify and report information related to multiple project control area’s which include but are not limited to budgets, project scheduling, project summaries and measure the effect of such information on the overall performance of BayWa r.e. Power Solutions PV projects.
    What You’ll Do:
    • Coordinate/Work closely with Project Managers, Development Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and other functional groups to assure project controls needs are met in an effective and timely manner.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system.
    • Develop and prepare level I, II, II and baseline schedules for the Company.
    • Develop and prepare cost loaded schedules.
    • Develop and prepare executive summary for each project.
    • Analyze project schedules to pinpoint opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to support construction activities.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline scheduling processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs. Stay informed about industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact solar scheduling operations.
    • Progress update schedules to accurately represent completed activities and forecast future activities.
    • Utilize industry standards and procedures to ensure project control data/information satisfies project management cost, estimating, planning and schedules needs.
    • Maintain a project control data base for use in preparing construction cost budgets in support of project preparation.
    • Maintain and update specific project control information and collect, sort and analyze progress reports covering status of completion, schedule and manpower utilization.
    • Coordinate and work effectively across organizational departments within project execution, development, engineering, procurement, and other functional groups to assure project time management objectives are achieved and the appropriate data is retained for future reference.
    • Evaluate subcontractor schedule submittals and make recommendations to project management regarding project performance, project status and forecasts.
    What you’ll bring:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the solar utility scale construction industry.
    • Minimum 6 years of experience in either planning, scheduling, estimating, resource management or cost controls applicable to engineering and/or construction of power generation facilities and/or transmission or electrical substations, preferably renewables.
    • Must have proficient experience with Primavera P6 scheduling Software, Microsoft excel, analytical database management, and accounting systems. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, data programming and scripts are highly recommended.

    Salary range:  $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year based on experience
