The Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications is responsible for the management, and oversight of the strategic marketing, branding and communications efforts for Warren County, it’s municipalities, businesses and organizations including:

Digital/social media, county-wide event promotion assistance, county brand website development and management and county marketing tool-kit development.

Essential Functions:

- Develop, implement, evaluate and refine a comprehensive marketing strategy for Warren County focused on promotion of the county Brand (to be developed in 2024) and overall mission to increase County-wide population and visitation.

- Use innovative marketing strategies to build and enhance Warren County’s reputation as a “Community of Choice”

- Build a culture of collaboration with partners including all Warren Worx Stakeholders, Warren County businesses, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and event administrators.

- Develop a marketing tool-kit and provide direction to local municipalities, businesses and organizations throughout Warren County on how to utilize the tools provided to promote the Warren County brand as well as their entities connections thereto.

- Other duties as assigned.

- This position reports to the President/CEO of the WCCBI

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in communications or marketing.

At least 5 years direct work experience in marketing, project management, communications including quantifiable experience in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, social media content delivery and management and community interactions.
