This is a full-time, direct placement role at Piece Management, Inc.

In 2013 Piece Management, Inc. became an employee owned (ESOP) company. PMI currently boasts the ability to fabricate millwork for our growing list of clients through our in-house millwork shop. This capability enables our firm to be extremely competitive and can ensure timely scheduling by eliminating normally long lead times for many items.

The Director of Millwork Operations reports to the Vice President of Millwork and is primarily responsible for facilitating a smooth flow from Estimating to Design to Production to Delivery. They are also responsible for hiring of Engineers and Production staff to support on-going operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Estimating team
• On-going Recruiting of staff
• P&L responsibilities
• Production scheduling
• Maintain customer relationships

Requirements

• 5-years in a management capacity working in similar positions

Key Competencies:

• Ability to manage multiple projects on time and within budget
• Computer skills required in Excel, Adobe, Word. Auto CAD
• Understanding of the means and methods for the engineering, fabrication, finishing and installation of architectural woodwork, casework and millwork
• Excellent organization, communication skills and a clean appearance Communicate directly with customers and vendors

This position will require a daily presence at one of our Nassau County – NY (Long Island) millwork fabrication facilities: New Hyde Park-NY, Syosset-NY or Westbury-NY
