The successful candidate will coordinate and track initiatives, at the direction of the Refinery Monitoring Program Lead, to advance the goals of Sonoma Technology’s Refinery Monitoring Program and may provide auxiliary support to other business areas on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with field staff and project managers to ensure project and program goals and timelines are met, and provide support where needed
- Draft and distribute communications about technical procedures to an audience with varied technical backgrounds
- Review and edit technical documents, such as standard operating procedures, for consistency and scientific accuracy
- Assist with research and data analysis projects on an as-needed basis
- Assist with occasional troubleshooting efforts of scientific instrumentation on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A BS degree in an environmental or physical science
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- A high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for working both collaboratively and independently, as required
- Willingness to occassionally travel to field sites on an as-needed basis
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass initial and random drug tests (both urine and hair), including marijuana
Desired Qualifications
- An MS degree in an environmental or physical science
- Experience with communicating technical concepts to a broad audience
- Data experience with multiple analysis platforms (Excel, R, Python, ESRI ArcGIS)
- Experience completing outdoor work according to a project schedule
- An interest in outdoor field projects
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000
