Postdoctorate Scientist performs scientific research in collaboration with a research team. Primarily a temporary position. Being a Postdoctorate Scientist requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Postdoctorate Scientist works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.     Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or an Engineering field.
    • Demonstrated passion for scientific inquiry and tenacity.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Shift flexibility depending upon business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Graduate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or an Engineering subject area.
    • Hands on experience with Surface Analysis techniques – including (but not limited to) X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray Reflectivity (XRR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Auger Electron Spectroscopy AES), Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS), Electrical Characterization, Physical/Mechanical Characterization, Thermal Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), and Electron Backscatter Diffraction Spectroscopy (EBSD).
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Data Science, Statistics, and Project Management.
