Northfield Industries is hiring for an experienced Project Manager (Manufacturing) in Schaumburg, IL due to growth through onboarding new OEM’s. The fastest-growing new accounts are John Deere and Yaskawa. The John Deere and Yaskawa project manager will be the customer’s main point of contact and responsible for every stage of the manufacturing cycle.

Interaction with the customer includes business development and submitting pricing, monitoring customer portals, engineering reviews, PPAP orders, forecasted business, on-time delivery, and tracking KPIs. Internally the project manager will work with our domestic and offshore quoting, purchasing, engineers, and production and scheduling team members.To be successful in the role you must possess:

• Bachelor of Science Degree required
• CNC machining and engineering background preferred
• Minimum of 1 year business-to-business technical sales
• Demonstrable success in key account management, sales growth, customer satisfaction and new customer acquisitions
• Able to quickly read and interpret customer designs
• Ability to develop business relationships, collaborative partnerships and work closely with technical resources. Excellent relationship-building skills
• Understands OEM business
• Extraordinarily high integrity, honest, ethical, and trustworthy
• Aggressive with the ability to recognize and seize opportunities
• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Effective planning and organization skills
• Creative yet practical—think outside the box with a view towards implementing ideas/concepts which fit the organization
• Ability to globally travel up to 25%.
