Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pool Manager. As the Pool Manager/Head Lifeguard, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pool facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. This is a seasonal position beginning May-Sept.

Responsibilities

Pool Manager generally runs day-to day operation of the pool, scheduling of the Life Guards and executes specific requests from the Director of Property Management

• Responsible for the same duties as the Life Guard.
• Fill in life Guard shifts
• Conduct safety meetings, supervise staff, schedule lifeguards, assure the pool chemicals meet requirements (complete daily log sheets)
• Maintain the pool and facility check water level/chemicals, check and clean out skimmers if needed.
• Verify all routine duties are performed
• Report all facility problems to Director of Property Management
• Supervise all issues pertaining to Lake Arrowhead employees at the pool (including performance).
• Manage all aspects of pool operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and well-maintained pool area.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor pool water quality and chemical levels, making adjustments as needed.
• Prepare reports on pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be Red Cross certified with Emergency CPR certificates for Adults, Infants and Children.
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Manager or Supervisor in the hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff members.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
