Qualifications: The position requires a minimum of a Certification as a Medical Assistant. Working knowledge of office machines and computers. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to recognize, identify and respond to manipulative behavior effectively.

The position requires availability Monday through Friday, generally 4pm - 8:30pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects and tests urine samples submitted by clients.
• Enters urinalysis results into the information management system.
• Communicates with pharmacies and drug manufacturers to determine which prescription drugs may cause false positive results.
• Maintains client records and helps with other clerical/record keeping duties as necessary.
• Maintains the confidentiality of all the patient data and ensure database security.
• Work with computer software to organize data, maintain databases.
• Maintains testing equipment, inventory of and ordering urine testing supplies.
• Attends staff meetings to provide input on client compliance issues.
• Attends phones, transfer calls and take messages as required.
• Greets patients and take payments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
