Police Patrol Officer jobs in Concord, NH

The town of Pittsfield NH is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Patrol Sergeant. Duties include supervising patrol personnel under his/her command and completing job evaluations yearly. Perform patrol duties to ensure the safety of the community and assure proper performance of patrol personnel under his/her command. Assign duties and coordinate special events utilizing the patrol staff as necessary to meet the department's goals and objectives. Serve as Officer in Charge of the department when required. Assist in coordinating in-service training, maintain the department's motor fleet, assist in creating work schedules, and participate in Emergency Management preparation. Perform all other duties as required by the Chief of Police. The town of Pittsfield is offering a $10,000.00 sign on bonus. This position is entitled to a take home cruiser. Salary range is $68,000 to $98,000 depending on experience. Health insurance split is 90% town and 10% employee. Generous PTO and Holiday package. Pittsfield is located in central NH 15 minutes from Concord and 30 minutes from Manchester.
