Poker Dealer deals poker, accepts bets, pays winners, and collects from non-winners. Handles player transactions, notifies pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Being a Poker Dealer may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Poker Dealer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Poker School Certification preferred.
2 years of poker dealing experience preferred.
Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, have finger and manual dexterity, have hand-eye coordination, ability to grasp, reach, bend, lift up to 10 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
Strong knowledge of poker rules.
Ability to Explain and operate Poker game play and tournament play.
Proven customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
