As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced PLANT SUPERINTENDENT - Second Shift.

• Lead and direct the work of others.
• Ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the most efficient manner.
• Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Monitor employees' work for issues/potential issues and take the appropriate actions to prevent/correct/educate.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in material logistics and manufacturing. Automotive O.E.M. customer Tier 1 supplier
• J.I.T. operations background and/or manufacturing experience in the Agricultural/Industrial industries.
• Strong skills in managing salaried and hourly employees and processes.
• Strong customer interfacing skills.
• Prior Quality experience.
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Must be process and data-driven.
• Knowledge of materials systems as SAP experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
