Plant Maintenance Manager oversees the plans for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Plant Maintenance Manager leads inspection to ensure an effective preventative maintenance procedure and framework. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Plant Maintenance Manager utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Manages spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Plant Maintenance Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Job Description
Highly successful Food/Beverage manufacturing market leader seeks an accomplished Maintenance Manager to provide leadership and direction to plant maintenance, installation of machines, facilities/buildings, electrical, utilities and project management. This is for a highly profitable plant, and offers a fast-track career growth.
You will mentor, manage and coach 5 direct reports and 50 indirect reports.
You will be seen as a valued business partner and will have the opportunity to significantly impact the business by directing, supervising and improving the maintenance function.
You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation.
You will work closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
You will develop and/or maintain Key Performance Indicators for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function (supplier performance, 3rd party contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, etc.)
You will provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 10% Bonus excellent 401k match excellent relocation
