Plant Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs for a plant. Administers corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Being a Plant Human Resources Manager may be responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Plant Human Resources Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Plant Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Requirements:Minimum Qualifications: Two years (2) of human resources experience required. Healthcare experience a plus. HRIS or other related software or system experience preferred. Experience with critical and highly confidential data entry and reporting. Experience working with a high volume or in a fast-paced office environment. Must be flexible and willing to learn new systems and become proficient in order to contribute to the team. Must be able to enter HR transactions into multiple systems efficiently with a high level of accuracy.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Basic computer skills with information technology associated with the position including a familiarity with HRIS, MS Excel and Google Sheets and Docs. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to remain flexible to quickly and calmly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
