As the Plant HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of human resources functions within our plant facility. In this role, you will: Provide strategic support and guidance to the leadership team on organizational policies. Collaborate with leadership to implement the plant's human resource and talent strategy, focusing on talent needs, recruitment, and retention. Act as a bridge between management and employees, addressing inquiries, interpreting policies, and facilitating issue resolution. Maintain records and generate statistical reports on personnel-related data (hires, turnover, absenteeism) to identify and propose enhancements to policies and practices. Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for production workers, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. Advise the leadership team on non-production recruiting and actively participate in interviews for non-production plant roles. Supervise subordinate staff, planning, directing, and coordinating their activities to ensure effective HR operations. Create impactful learning and development programs, analyzing training needs and designing initiatives for internal employee development. Handle employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies and practices for continuous improvement. Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
