    PSC Group is now hiring an Operations Clerk to join our team at a safety-minded facility in Wilmington, DE. This position will be responsible for the safe and efficient inspecting, weighing, and creating documentation for product loads of truck and rail operations while working in SAP / Yard Management Software.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, advanced computer skills in all facets, and demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a chemical plant environment

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 AM - 3 PM with some occasional overtime depending on business needs

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Utilizes and updates yard management software to ensure railcar levels and locations are accurate 
    • Maintains accurate documentation for all railcars that enter and exit the facility (loaded and unloaded)
    • Compiles, processes and distributes Bill of Ladings / Manifests in accordance with customer and DOT requirements
    • Performs daily data entry, compares load orders and distribution entries in the SAP computer system
    • Assists supervisor in generating switch lists 
    • Communicates data and reports with customers and PSC Group operations 
    • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job

    Job Qualifications:

    • Prior experience utilizing SAP is preferred
    • Prior experience working in a chemical plant, industrial or manufacturing work environment is a plus, but not required
    • Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Must possess a valid Driver's License
    • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
    • Stable work history with good references from past employers
    • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
    • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
