Plant General Manager jobs in South Carolina

Manufacturing Plant Manager role open for a growing company in Greenwood, SC. In this role, you will work closely with other management personnel throughout the organization to ensure a safe, efficient, and profitable operation. This is a hands-on management position and only candidates with previous leadership in a machining environment will be considered.

Standard Shift Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Mon-Fri, (5) 8hr Days.

Qualifications:

• Previous managerial/sup experience (5 years) in production, manufacturing, and machining (CNC, lathe, powder coating, welding)
• Provide an "on-floor" presence as a team leader and supervisor and assist in gaps to keep production flowing.
• Responsible for ensuring all manufacturing processes and employees are operating to their fullest potential.
• Review and adjust production schedule as needed to maximize production schedule attainment.
• Strong leadership qualities, with supervision of 30 employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to drive to Greenwood, SC in under 45 minutes
