Establishes procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with all relevant government and industry legislation and regulations. Manage product costing, plant controlling and inventory control for building finishing plants. Work with department managers to develop short- and long-term financial goals. Utilize SAP and other reporting tools available to measure the performance. Track plant spending of expenses and investments against the budget/RPA, advise management, and recommend appropriate corrective action. Improve inventory accuracy by managing inventory control systems including cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintain records to document and explain variances. Manage all aspects of product costing standards for each factory. Implement systems and controls utilizing SAP to improve the financial performance at each facility. Measure, report and present monthly expense/variance results to local management and Corporate Controlling. Prepare and analyze manufacturing reports for cost center reporting, benchmark metrics, purchase price variance for raw materials, process order variances, work in process, inventory levels and turns, DOH, velocity, shipping costs, returns, obsolete inventory, labor costing, and capital assets. Make recommendations for corrective actions. Telecommuting is permitted. Travel required up to 10% of the time.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus five (5) years of financial management experience.
