Plant Accounting Manager manages all financial control and accounting activities of a plant including general and cost accounting, payables/receivables and payroll. Ensures the plant's financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide required information. Being a Plant Accounting Manager monitors plant operation results against operating plans and direct the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs. Leads the plant financial and capital budgeting process. Additionally, Plant Accounting Manager recommends and implements programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs. May require a CPA. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Plant Accounting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Plant Accounting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You'll Do
    • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of strategic IT projects ensuring consistency with and adherence to company strategies, policies, processes, methodologies, commitments and goals

    • Ensures effective communications exists with and among projects for which he/she is responsible
    • Briefs upper management weekly and/or monthly on project activities, cost, schedule, status, and technical performance
    • Participates in departmental management processes such as planning, budgeting, and scheduling
    • Participates and/or develops procurement deliverables (e.g., statements of work, bills of material) for external services and materials; may require serving in a subcontractor administrator role

    Minimum Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
    • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification OR Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Leading SAFe Certified
    • Experience in Microsoft Project and/or proven experience in equivalent tool
    Preferred Job Requirements
    • Ability to work independently and to work effectively as part of a group with diverse backgrounds and skills
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, time management skills, organizational skills, and oral and written skills
    • A good understanding of risk management, risk mitigation and contingency planning
    • Scrum Master Certification preferred
    • Agile Project Management Certification preferred
    • ITIL Foundations Certification preferred
    • ServiceNow experience with Agile Development and Project modules preferred
    • Highly-motivated with proven ability to develop, lead, and manage multiple concurrent and complex IT related infrastructure and/or application development projects in a fast paced, demanding business environment on time and within budget
    • Knowledge and understanding of project management best practices and processes such as those of the Project Management Institute (PMI)
    • Knowledge and understanding of project lifecycle management and software development life cycle
    • IT project leadership skills focused on control of the classic triple constraints of time, cost, and quality
    • Ability to manage and direct the activities of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of IT technical personnel, functional personnel, and interfaces with internal and external customers, including management and stakeholders
    • Ability to logically and systematically evaluate project and process problems to determine appropriate solutions
    • Experience in conflict resolution with individuals or a team
    • Exercises initiative and independent judgment and discretion under limited supervision
    • Experience serving as a Scrum Master is desired
    • Experience executing agile projects is desire planning
