POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s Supply Chain Strategy using best in class Supply Chain Management techniques. Planning and management of all activity involving sourcing, procurement, production planning and supply chain planning to ensure the optimum raw material inventory levels to maximize Customer OTD. Implement and improve processes that synchronize supply with demand by managing the flow of goods and information (internally & externally), WIP inventory and finished goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Assist the business in implementing and utilizing ERP/MRP system to develop inventory planning models that optimize inventory turns and material availability.
- Leverage the spend and consolidate suppliers, as appropriate across all CCG factories, including raw material suppliers, office supplies and MRO.
- Implement, maintain, and support SIOP process.
- Must possess lean manufacturing knowledge, experience with Kanban, supermarkets and other material replenishment systems.
- Knowledge of all aspects of materials management, including negotiating, strategic and tactical purchasing, production planning and forecasting, supplier cost, quality, and delivery forecasting, and inventory control.
- Develop “lean” supply chain processes, and continuous improvement methodologies to ensure reliable and constant improvements in their operational efficiency, productivity, and utilization.
- Define and implement Raw and Finished Goods Strategy according to different business needs to ensure proper goods availability according to customer demand/while managing inventory.
- Establish business specific processes for inventory planning and demand forecasting, lead time, carrying costs of inventory, asset management, inventory valuation, inventory visibility, and physical inventory, available physical space for inventory, quality management, and replenishment.
- Work with all CCG factories purchasing teams on negotiating optimal pricing, terms, and transportation methods.
- Make sure monthly demand plan, Annual Operating Plan and quarterly Rolling forecasts are established and properly maintained with the newest business development.
- Identify and manage risk within the local and Global Supply Chain.
- Lead and coordinate all sourcing activities. Working with CCG corporate, Quality, Engineering and Marketing.
- Develop long-term supply plans to support supply chain initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain global policies and Global Supply Chain goals.
- Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
- Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices as required
- Develops a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery and service.
- Arranges for disposal of surplus materials
- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages employees in the Supply Chain department, including the areas of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, scheduling.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Management, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics or 15 years equivalent experience in relevant functions
- APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP, CFPIM) preferred
- In depth knowledge of end to end supply chain processes and best practices.
- Able to Coach and develop team to grow Supply Chain Functional competence.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, as well as ability to establish credibility throughout the organization and with employees, suppliers and customers.
- Skilled at analytical thinking, communication, coordination, active listening, critical thinking, time management, team building, mentoring, negotiations and diplomacy.
Experience:
- 10 years working experience in supply chain management and leadership experience in progressively responsible positions.
- Prior Experience operating in a Lean environment.
