Planning Director directs and oversees the patient service planning function for a hospital or healthcare system. Performs analysis of trends in healthcare and makes recommendations for new services or changes in existing services. Being a Planning Director supports feasibility analysis and new program planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Planning Director typically reports to top management. The Planning Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The director will oversee staff and their development, child care compliance and quality, programing, fundraising, seeking and meeting grant requirements, financial compliance, and community relations and work with the Carver Community Center Board to continue the Center’s long history serving the community.
Qualifications include:
· Management experience and familiarity with budgets
· Meet ODJFS’s required qualifications for a Child Care Administrator [OAC 5101:2-12- 07 Appendix A]
· 3-5 years childcare experience
· Familiarity with ODJFS’s “Step Up to Quality".
· Grant and fundraising experience
· Effective individual and community communication skills
· Demonstrated desire to help those in need
· Pass background check
