Planning Director directs and oversees the patient service planning function for a hospital or healthcare system. Performs analysis of trends in healthcare and makes recommendations for new services or changes in existing services. Being a Planning Director supports feasibility analysis and new program planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Planning Director typically reports to top management. The Planning Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Planning Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a practicing attorney
- Detailed knowledge of Wills & Estate Laws
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning and research skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service and personal service orientation
- Ability to ask pertinent questions, actively listen to answers and synthesize information in order to formulate advice based on sound judgement and strong knowledge of the law and legal precedence
- Ability to keep client and firm matters confidential
