Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in the Bismarck/Mandan area. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities from start to finish
- Manage and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and quality control standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plans
- Address any issues or delays that arise during construction
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and documentation of any changes or modifications
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control measures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
