Position Summary 

The Plan Optimization Specialist responsibilities include ensuring each assigned account is maximizing profitability to achieve LINQ profit goals and maintain client LINQ rate.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work hours are daily from 2:00pm – 11:00pm. Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
• Provide data analysis findings to manager for decision making purposes
• Communicates with internal and external sources to garner information to support and implement analysis
• Utilize existing tools to review available plan options and implement cost effective solutions on eligible accounts
• Provide last call coverage to manage carrier costs across all Verizon accounts 
• Monitor all throttle cases making necessary adjustments daily
• Communicate with Account Analyst to maintain credit transfer requests 
• Collaborates with other team members to achieve business outcomes and goals

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance Management preferred or equivalent experience
• Professional individual with ability to perform independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new systems and applications
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task, work with multiple team members and manage deadlines
• High quality organizational skills; strong attention to detail
• Reliable and self-accountable in performing job-related tasks, finishing assigned projects and meeting deadlines
