Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Coordinator ensures that plan meets appropriate internal, as well as legislative guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Plan Design Coordinator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Coordinator works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Position operates in support of a professional design and decorating retail store. Duties include input of estimates and orders, creating reports for contractor sales department, assistance in customer communication and common office duties. Phone experience and basic computer skills required, in addition to the ability to utilize spreadsheets and word documents. Position will operate independently and as part of a team.
