Pipelines Manager manages day-to-day operational aspects of natural gas and/or crude oil pipeline. Plans and develops enhancements of pipelines to troubleshoot pipeline problems. Being a Pipelines Manager ensures that the department's objectives meet the regulations, industry standards, production targets, and quality standards. Determines expenses for pipeline system usage. Additionally, Pipelines Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipelines Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Pipelines Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. JOB SUMMARY
The Hotel Manager (HM) is a key member of the Vessel Leadership Team (VLT - a group of leaders assigned to manage all aspects of each department on the vessel). This is a hands-on position, and the employee is responsible for the overall operations of the Hotel Department including front of house, back of house, bar, and housekeeping services, as well as the overall guest experience. Most of the HM’s work is accomplished during the summer sailing season with flexible opportunities for additional employment throughout the winter season. This position reports to the Captain while sailing in addition to the Hotel Team on shore.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
(1) Required for vessels operating in Washington (PNW)
(2) Company preferred, required for yachts (SQU and SFX)

WORK SCHEDULE
The sailing season, including training, is roughly 5-6 months long. Any requested dates off must be requested in advance. Requests will be considered but requested dates off may not all be possible and are not guaranteed. During the off-season, there is flexibility regarding how much an HM works. Assignments for the Winter sailing season are frequently offered as non-management sailing roles or on land in Seattle for shipyard periods, recruiting, sales or project based as needed.
