Additionally, Pipelines Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Responsibilities
Join our Scientific Informatics product management team to explore the integration of computer vision technologies within scientific data pipelines. As an Intern, you will collaborate with our team to benchmark the competition, and to define, prototype, and prioritize product features.
Your role involves:
* Define practical use cases for computer vision in scientific data management
* Conduct thorough research on current advancements in computer vision
* Identify and evaluate relevant foundation models for application integration
* Contribute to product strategy by writing user stories to guide the implementation of new, innovative capabilities
* Work closely with UX experts to build user experiences that delight our customers
* Develop prototypes for web applications.
Qualifications
* Knowledgeable in data engineering, machine learning, and data science
* Proficiency in Python programming
* Knowledgeable in computer vision technologies (image preprocessing, model training and inference, etc.)
* Familiarity with scientific workflows (such as laboratory, research, clinical)
* Familiarity with OpenCV, YOLO and TensorFlow is a plus
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
This 3 month paid internship is on-site at our Waltham, MA office with a flexible start date. You will be expected to follow a hybrid work model.
The total expected compensation range for this role will be between $22 and $40. In determining the pay range, we take into consideration experience, pay of employees in similar positions, and other job-related factors.
