Pipeline Technician is responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of an oil or gas pipeline system. Troubleshoots, tests, maintains, and repairs pipeline equipment which may include valves, operators, and filtration systems. Being a Pipeline Technician performs periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipeline system. Completes maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents. Additionally, Pipeline Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Pipeline Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Job Summary: Operating Room Technician functions under ORT Scope of Practice. Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, carry’s out the established plan of care for an assigned group of patients, through the contribution and participation in the nursing process, of assessment, intervention, evaluation, and patient and family education. Specific areas of responsibilities include: Labeling of medications and assisting in surgical cases within scope of practice, maintaining high standards of sterile technique, and Contributing to an individualized plan of care under the supervision of a Registered. Reports to RN, Manager, Nursing Director

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Demonstrates competency in the collection of data (within Scope of Practice) in the patient population served including but not limited to the following: *Risk Behaviors, Reinforcement of EDU needs, Psychosocial needs and Clinical care
    • Demonstrates the ability to correctly set up and maintain a sterile field, as well as correctly handle and count surgical instruments.
    • Demonstrates the ability to properly identify the surgical specimen. Demonstrates ability to prioritize care interventions as well as anticipate needs of the operating surgeon, and surgical patient.
    • Can work in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, acceptable standards of practice, regulatory standards within Scope of practice.
    • Provides patient care throughout the continuum.
    • Serves as a role model for the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization and fulfills other job duties as requested within Scope of Practice.
    • Maintains current competencies as well as updated knowledge in specific area of practice.

    Education/Experience:

    • Graduate of an accredited school for Surgical Technology
    • Minimum of 1-year current experience in area applying for preferred 

    Licensure/Certifications:

    • Current BLS for Health care Provider Card
