Job Description:

To develop a routine schedule for nursing services within the facility, maintain set staffing levels for all three shifts, assist payroll processing information for nursing team members, and complete nursing payroll edits in a timely manner. In addition, perform clerical needs of the nursing unit and assist with resident needs as appropriate. To maintain outstanding customer services when interacting with others

Duties include:

• Prepare schedule for all nursing staff maintaining staffing levels within the limits of the budget.
• Post shift openings via OnShift and attempt to meet staffing guidelines.
• Handle call-offs and replace staff timely, per shift according to shift start times.

• Post schedule on each unit and OnShift when changes occur, update daily or more frequently as needed.
• Weekend call rotation for nursing staffing needs.
• Return all phone calls and messages within 24 hours.
• Work cooperatively with the Unit Managers, Nursing Administration and Human Resources to identify recruitment needs and staff retention activities.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a CNA/QMA beneficial.
• One to three years experience working in long term care.
