Pipefitter, Sr. assembles and repairs pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures. Ensures proper placement, alignment, and operation according to blueprints and instructions. Being a Pipefitter, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Pipefitter, Sr. works under moderate supervision. UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking skilled commercial pipefitters to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, bend and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel to specifications
- Install piping or tubing segments securely welding or other equipment
- Must HAVE Victaulic Pipe, Screw Pipe and Pro-Press Experience
- Perform trial runs, test, pipe systems to ensure optimal performance
- Repair and reinforce broken, cracked, or inadequate systems or pipes
- Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
- Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems
- Install plumbing lines in accordance to specifications and as needed
Pay range is based upon experience
Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen if required.
Must have valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
Must have own tools
