BME is a comprehensive Service and Installation contractor servicing Southwest Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Central Tennessee. BME is currently seeking experienced Commercial and Industrial HVAC technicians in the Cincinnati Metro area including Northern Kentucky.

    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing and pipefitting techniques, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems that convey various materials such as water, gas, steam, or chemicals. This position requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and adherence to safety protocols at all times.

    Responsibilities:

    • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install pipes using various tools and equipment.
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of piping systems.
    • Select appropriate piping materials and components based on project requirements and specifications.
    • Assemble and install piping systems according to established standards and regulations.
    • Inspect and test piping systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
    • Repair or replace damaged, worn, or malfunctioning pipes, valves, fittings, and other components.
    • Stick weld and TIG weld experience including carbon steel and stainless steel.
    • Repair and installation of pumps, boilers, chillers and cooling towers.
    • Collaborate with other construction trades and project stakeholders to coordinate installation activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
    • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Completion of a recognized pipefitting apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
    • Proven experience as a Pipefitter in the construction, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
    • Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
    • Ability to operate pipefitting tools and equipment such as pipe wrenches, cutters, threaders, and welding machines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting, climbing, bending, and kneeling.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Journeyman Pipefitter, OSHA 10/30, etc.).
    • Additional training or coursework in welding, fabrication, or related fields.
    • Experience with industrial piping systems, HVAC systems, or fire protection systems.

    Pay Range: $32.00 - 37.00 /hour based on experience
