    Responsibilities
    • Performance specification, acceptance testing, and commissioning of new equipment. 
    • Development and maintenance of quality assurance programs for all treatment modalities, localization
      procedures, and computational equipment to assure that patients receive prescribed doses within
      acceptable degrees of accuracy.
    • Maintenance of all instrumentation required for calibration of sources, measurement of radiation and
      calibration of doses.
    • First-order maintenance of treatment units in conjunction with the service technician.
    •  Other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine, Medical Technology, Radiological Technology, Nursing or related field; and graduate of approved school of nuclear medicine technology.
    • Two (2) years' experience/training in radiation safety functions or equivalent (including licensure requirement/amendment process). 
    • Four (4) years technologist experience in nuclear medicine, two (2) in a supervisory capacity.
