Physician - Urology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the genitourinary tract and organs. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Urology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Urology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Urology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to:
Provide care to adult urology patients in an outpatient setting.
Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.
Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to: catheter insertions, catheter changes, and complex bladder irrigation.
Education : If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications : Minimum State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner*:
Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family; Gerontology.
If Physician Assistant*:
Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
