Pawsitive Steps Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine is exclusively dedicated to providing veterinary physical medicine services, rehabilitation therapy, sports medicine, and pain management for small animal patients. We are an independently owned practice located in Rochester Hills, MI and one of only a handful of stand-alone practices in the state dedicated solely to rehabilitation. We take a low-stress approach with patient care by continually assessing body language and behavior. We believe that rehab should be fun and enjoyable for the patient in order to produce the greatest success.

We are seeking a full-time, veterinary assistant with at least one year of previous veterinary experience who is compassionate, has a strong work ethic, possesses critical thinking skills, and works well with teammates.

**Interested candidates must have their own, reliable transportation.**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Patient Restraint
• Assisting LVTs with performing specific treatments such as cold laser therapy, assisting patients in the underwater treadmill and monitoring of patients
• Updating patient records
• Keeping up on facility maintenance (laundry, cleaning, filters, etc.)
• Providing support to client service staff (answering phones, paperwork, etc.)
