Physician - Sports Medicine examines and treats sport or athletic related injuries. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Sports Medicine monitors patient during sport events or physical activity and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Sports Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Sports Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing is seeking a 100% Staff Nurse to work at the Sports Medicine Clinic.

Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: Monday - Friday hours range from 0800-1700. 2 late night shifts per month. No weekends, holidays or call.
Salary: $60,000 minimum at 100% effort to commensurate. Salary will be based on years of experience and percent effort.
