Being a Physician - Sports Medicine monitors patient during sport events or physical activity and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Sports Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Sports Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. *Ideal candidate will have a strong interest in womens health.
*There is limited call with the other providers in the practice.
*Candidate will work alongside 11 physicians and one APP.
*This will be a hospital-employed, outpatient only position.
*The practice is open M-F 8a-5p.
