We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Assistant
You will work directly with patients and be part of a strong healthcare team to deliver high quality, empathetic, patient-centered care.
Must have the ability to multitask in a high paced environment demonstrating good organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to prioritize tasks.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and organization of charts and recording of patient information such as vital signs, weight, and updating changes in medical history prior to each appointment
- Preparing the examination rooms for procedures and clinic visits
- Supporting the clinical team with patient communication and office workflows
- Strong phlebotomy skills for in-house lab draws; perform in office injections under supervision
- Process orders for labs, imaging, and medications
- Be flexible to work at our satellite office in Sun City and Wesley Chapel 2 days a week
- Respond to patient clinical queries and present this to nurse/provider
- Do check-in/ check outs for providers.
Full-Time position.
