Our Rheumatology Practice has 1,700 unique active patients between Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital with 52 patients receiving routine biologic infusion therapy. The Practice boasts active Lupus Clinics, Joint Pain Clinics, Ultrasound Evaluation and Treatment Clinics and Arthritis Clinics.
The Jacobi Medical Center Inpatient Rheumatology Service is very active averaging approximately 7 consults per day while North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) averages 3-5 consults per day. Rheumatology Service at both Jacobi and North Central Bronx is a division of the Department of Medicine and has 4 full time Attending Rheumatologists while the Department of Medicine has approximately 100 full time physicians and 156 medical residents. The Jacobi/NCB Department of Medicine has 15 Divisions with all medical specialties represented and is also affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
