Physician - Rheumatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Rheumatology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. The Physician is responsible for supervising and providing necessary and desirable medical care within the Physician’s specialty to Dartmouth-Hitchcock patients, consistent with the policies and procedures of DHC, the facility at which care is rendered, and the directions of the Service Line Leader or his/her designee.
