Being a Physician - Rheumatology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. We are a Rheumatology practice in need of a new Medical Assistant to join our team in our Owings Mills, MD location. The applicant will be asked to:
- triage patients (vitals, etc.)
- ensure patient charts are accurate, prepped for the appointment, and up to date
- answer phone calls/ voicemails in a timely manner
- obtain prior authorizations
- assist the physician with procedures, prepping/ administering medications
- various patient paperwork
- other tasks that may arise during the day or on a situational basis
