Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this role, you will play a key role in growing the Rheumatology Franchise. This individual will develop broad HCP marketing capabilities and will have the ability to stretch and demonstrate their leadership capabilities through ownership of multiple workstreams.

This position will play an essential role in ensuring the commercial success of Enbrel® and Otezla® within Rheumatology, two of Amgen’s flagship brands. In this position, you help enable the success of HCP marketing. You will manage several initiatives, including short term execution, as well as helping to drive new capabilities that will set the brand up for success in the mid to long term. 

The ideal candidate possesses strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills, a track record of successful execution, excellent communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and a passion to serve patients in a dynamic, competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Senior Managers to execute marketing campaigns to reach and engage target HCPs
• Support brand operations, including leading assets through MAC, print production management, and team budget coordination.
• Support brand through critical label updates in 2024 and beyond
• Partner with multiple functions, teams, and vendors (e.g., commercial counterparts, Legal, Reg, Medical, Sales, IT, Marketing Ops, etc.) on all initiatives
• Help build key brand marketing initiatives as needed
• Partner with Senior Managers to develop a variety of promotional assets including leave behinds, rep-triggered emails, HQ emails, websites, and other assets as needed.
• Domestic Travel Up to 10%

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or Master’s degree and 2 years of marketing and/or media experience/business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.

Or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of marketing and/or media experience/business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.

Or Associate’s degree and 8 years of marketing and/or media experience/business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.

Or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of marketing and/or media experience/business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in any combination of the following areas: marketing; market access; project management & planning; sales; commercial analytics
• Self-starter with excellent project management skills, the ability to anticipate potential roadblocks, work independently and the ability to deliver on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated critical thinking ability with a solid grasp of foundational marketing competencies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead others and tailor communication style to cross-functional partners.
• Marketing experience; has worked to develop or implement key marketing initiatives
• Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams and navigating legal/regulatory/medical processes, as well as working with field teams
• Demonstrated strength in analytics
• Preferred pharma experience
