Physician - Rheumatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Rheumatology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Rheumatology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Rheumatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. * Joining a group of 6 providers
* Work out of only 1 office; located 15 mile south of group's other office
* New grads welcome
* Outpatient only - no rounding, no call
* Schedule: Mon - Thurs, 8am - 5pm and Friday, 8am - 3pm
* Daily patient census: 20-22
* 30 - 45 minutes per new patient appointment, and 15 min for follow up depending on complexity
* ***Do not*** need preauthorization for medications with this practice
**Compensation and benefits:**
* Base salary - $255k
* Minimum productivity of $300K easily reachable
* 4 weeks vacation including CME and sick days
* CME up to $2500
