Physician Residency Coordinator jobs in Connecticut
Physician Residency Coordinator oversees the administration and scheduling of the physician residency program of a healthcare organization. Coordinates and facilitates the activities of the physician residents and provides the resources necessary to fulfill curriculum requirements. Being a Physician Residency Coordinator ensures physician activities comply with governing bodies such as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or other applicable regulations. Supports the recruitment and selection process of resident physicians. Additionally, Physician Residency Coordinator administers and maintains a system or database to manage schedules and physician performance metrics. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physician Residency Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. - Assist Residency Investigator with investigations.
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations and deadlines are met.
- Prior secretarial experience required.
- Ability to multiple tasks in a highly fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to work with confidential information and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and assist a team of 20 plus coordination across school support staff.
- Proficient computer skills, including: PowerSchool, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office Package with strong Excel background.
- Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) preferred.
- Effective and efficient data entry skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish are preferred.
