West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Radiology seek diagnostic radiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor). The successful candidates will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.
The Radiology Department is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging. We promote, develop and integrate advances in imaging technology and imaging-based therapeutic procedures to complement the clinical, educational and research missions of WVU. We have a growing outreach imaging program covering several hospitals in the tri-state area. Facility and imaging equipment is of the highest quality with outstanding clinical infrastructure in place.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of diagnostic radiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure in states where imaging services are provided by WVU Medicine. Successful candidate must have completed a radiology residency program and be board certified / eligible in radiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
