Performs simulations and simulation radiography (i.e. CT, MRI, and PET) to localize treatment area while confirming treatment plan with the Radiation Oncologist. Educates patient regarding procedure on first day of treatment. Observes all safety regulations concerning ionizing radiation both for self and patients and reporting any incidence outside of normal operating parameters to the Medical Physicist. Attends weekly chart rounds and monthly department meetings. Maintains a safe and clean environment within the work setting. Performs other duties as assigned.
