Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Assist with medical billing and coding as needed
- Coordinate referrals from specialists and other healthcare providers
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient care

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Please note that all positions at our facility are paid positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
